On the evening of Monday, December 1st, 2025, a devastating accident occurred near the Ashburn Metro station, claiming the life of 34-year-old Alyssa Kakol from Purcellville, VA. Alyssa was struck by a Loudoun County Transit bus on Croson Lane at Moorefield Boulevard, just after 6:25 p.m.
