The community of Paisley is grieving the sudden loss of Connor Gray, a vibrant 14-year-old student at Paisley Grammar School, who tragically passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Connor was not only a dedicated student but also a passionate footballer who played for St Peters 2011s, where he was adored by teammates, coaches, and all who knew him.

His radiant smile, boundless enthusiasm, and warm, kind-hearted nature made him a standout among his peers. He approached life with an infectious positivity and was always ready to lend a hand to those around him.

St Peters Football Club expressed their deep sorrow following Connor’s untimely passing, sharing a tribute on social media. "It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of Connor Gray, a beloved member of our 2011 age group," the club said, adding, "Connor was cherished by all at St Peters, and his untimely departure has left a deep void in the hearts of the entire St Peters family."

A touching tribute was held at a recent home game, where Connor’s signed shirt was laid on the halfway line and a minute of silence was observed in his memory.
