Louise O’Loughlin, Devoted Mother, Passes Suddenly in Raphoe, Co. Donegal, Leaving a Deep Void in the Community
Louise O’Loughlin, a beloved mother and cherished member of the Raphoe community, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2025, leaving her family and friends in profound shock. The news of her unexpected death has left her loved ones heartbroken, especially her two children, Eoghan and Kai.
Louise's greatest pride was her family. Her passing creates an immense void, not only for her children but also for her father Pauric, stepmother Roberta, and her siblings—Carmel, Katrina, Shaun, Janice, Leanne, Deborah, Bobby, Stephen, Natalie, and Ryan. Louise’s love and care touched the hearts of many, and her absence will be deeply felt by her extended family and close-knit community.
She was predeceased by her mother Patricia and sister Annmarie, and her family takes comfort in the belief that they are now together again. As the community mourns, they have come together in support of the O'Loughlin family during this difficult time.
Louise will repose at her late residence on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. A Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, December 4th, at St. Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family requests privacy on the morning of the funeral.
