Mayakaahla (Mike) Giscombe, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, tragically passed away on November 26th, 2025, following a devastating head-on collision on Highway 138. Mike, who had just celebrated his 30th birthday on November 4th, was driving for Lyft at the time of the accident, working hard to provide for his loved ones.
The collision occurred at around 3 a.m. in rainy conditions, an area that had already seen multiple accidents throughout the year. Mike leaves behind his 4-year-old son, his mother, two younger sisters, and a younger brother, all of whom are devastated by the sudden loss.
"His passing was completely unexpected, and we are struggling to cope with this heartbreaking loss," said his family in a heartfelt message shared through a fundraiser. They are seeking support to cover the costs of funeral and burial services, as Mike did not have life insurance.
As the family navigates this difficult time, they hope to give Mike a respectful and dignified farewell, honoring his memory with love and gratitude.
