Silas Jacob Garlington, Beloved Olathe Resident, Passes Away at the Age of 24
Silas Jacob Garlington, a cherished member of the Olathe, Kansas community, tragically passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 24. His death has left family, friends, and all who knew him in deep sorrow.
Silas, known for his warmth and kindness, touched countless lives with his genuine spirit. He is remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends. He leaves behind his parents, Nathan Garlington and Norma Garlington (Beck), as well as his son, Elliott. Silas was also predeceased by his grandparents, Steve, John, and Erika, and his cousin, Cody Garlington.
His survivors include his grandparents, Linda Beck, Hank, Michelle Beck, Nannie Jonnie, Andi, and Becki; and Donald Whitley, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A heartfelt memorial message was shared by a close friend on social media, who wrote, "Silas will always be remembered for his incredible kindness and the impact he had on all of us."
