Yessica Sanchez Espinoza, Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Passes Away After Long Battle with Cancer in Issaquah, WA

Yessica Sanchez Espinoza, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, tragically passed away on November 30, 2025, at 12:27 pm, surrounded by the love of her family in Issaquah, WA. She was 49 years old.

Yessica was born on October 10, 1976, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and moved to the United States with her husband, Ignacio Esqueda Ramirez, in 1998, seeking a better future for their growing family. They settled in Issaquah, where Yessica became an integral part of the community, raising four children and building lasting friendships. For over 20 years, she and Ignacio worked as cooks at Malarkey’s Sports Grill, where their warmth and work ethic were well-known and loved by all.

In February 2024, Yessica was diagnosed with lymphoma. Despite a brave fight through chemotherapy and initial recovery, the cancer returned in October 2024, spreading to her brain. Yessica's strength and resilience in the face of her illness were an inspiration to those who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband, children, grandchildren, and a community that will always remember her kindness. Yessica's family has expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
