Emmanuel Sikalamwa, a 38-year-old former nurse from Dowa, Malawi, tragically passed away on December 1st after a period of personal struggles and emotional hardship.
Emmanuel had recently faced the difficult loss of his job at Madisi Mission Hospital and had moved his family to Chisepo, hoping for a fresh start. Unfortunately, his personal challenges continued to weigh heavily on him. Just days after the move, he left home to visit his mother in Kasuntha but never returned. His family, filled with worry, waited for his safe return.
The community was devastated when his body was found in a nearby woodlot by students on December 1st, shattering any hope for his safe return.
