Ronnell "James" Johnson, Beloved Family Member and Friend, Passes Away at 25 in Van Buren, IN
Ronnell "James" Johnson, a vibrant soul from Van Buren, Indiana, tragically passed away on November 30th, 2025, at the age of 25. Ronnell's untimely death has left his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow.
Ronnell, known for his kindness and infectious spirit, will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Kaylene Johnson; his son, Adonis Johnson; his mother, Lanesta White; and his siblings, Lanessa White, Malia Johnson, Malik Johnson, and Gionni White. He is also survived by his in-laws, Amber Cox (Travis Dillon) and Brad Cox, as well as his nephews, Kevon Masters, Ke'Marion Masters, and Carter Hale.
Ronnell's family expressed their grief and sorrow, with friends and loved ones sharing their condolences online. His passing leaves a significant gap in the lives of those who cherished him.
Visitation services for Ronnell will be held on December 3rd, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a ceremony at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church in Marion, IN.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The Brian Sharp Memorial Foundation for Cops & Kids. Ronnell’s life will be celebrated by all who loved him, and his memory will continue to inspire those he touched.
