Floyd W Beaverson, Beloved Family Man and Friend, Passes Away in Stryker, OH
Floyd W Beaverson, age 59, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice. Floyd's family, friends, and colleagues are grieving the loss of a kind and compassionate individual.
Floyd was known for his love of grilling and his deep commitment to his family. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, often grilling for family gatherings and enjoying golf cart rides and camping trips. Floyd’s warmth and humor made him a beloved figure among those who knew him.
Born on July 25, 1966, to the late Theodore and Cora (McKnight) Beaverson, Floyd was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He married his wife, Lisa (Morgan), on May 5, 1995, and together they raised a loving family. Floyd leaves behind his wife, three children, and eight grandchildren, along with many adopted children and grandchildren who called him “Dad” and “Papa.”
In a heartfelt tribute, a close friend wrote, “Floyd’s kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. He was truly like family to so many of us.”
Floyd’s family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the family’s benevolence fund. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bridging the Gap Church in Stryker.
