James R Visosky, a cherished chef and devoted Buffalo Bills fan, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Jamestown, New York, at the age of 62.
James, known for his culinary talents, was the son of Gary Visosky and the late Sharon Visosky. Raised in Jamestown, he graduated from Falconer Central School, where he formed lasting friendships and developed a passion for football. After high school, James pursued a successful career in the culinary arts, becoming head chef at The Riverboat Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He later returned to Jamestown to continue his work at his family’s restaurant, The Belview, where he earned respect and admiration from both colleagues and customers alike.
A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, James enjoyed cheering on his team with enthusiasm, and he cherished the time spent caring for his late mother, Sharon.
James is survived by his father Gary, his brother Jeff Visosky and his wife Laurie, and his sister Julie Solinger and her husband Ricky. He is also survived by his nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, and other extended family members.
Family and friends have expressed their deep sadness over his passing, and his contributions to the local community will not be forgotten.
