Ingrid E. Martin, a cherished wife, mother, and dedicated caregiver, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2025, at the age of 64 in her home in Bark River, Michigan. Ingrid’s passing has left the community in mourning, as she was known for her unwavering devotion to her family and her many years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Born on February 23, 1961, in Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Germany, Ingrid moved to the United States after marrying David Martin in 1979. The couple spent over 46 years together, raising seven children and becoming pillars of their community. Ingrid worked for over 30 years at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, where she was affectionately known as “Mother Martin” by her colleagues.
Ingrid loved spending time with her family, watching the Green Bay Packers, and enjoying activities like crossword puzzles and bonfires. Her family and friends will remember her as a warm and compassionate soul who always put others before herself.
